The Holle company was created close to 80 years ago with the highest standards in mind. This formula is made from 99% organically grown ingredients (unlike 90% to 95% for leading brands). The milk used comes from cows raised on organic biodynamic local farms in caring and appropriate environments. All farms strictly adhere to EU organic regulations and, moreover, to the stringent international Demeter regulations which is a step above organic quality. Cows freely grazing on lush European biodynamic fields and pastures is the reason for the superior quality of the milk used in our premium baby food. Demeter farmers avoid the painful de-horning of cows and any use of harmful procedures. Other important ingredients include organic vegetable oils, which provide essential fatty acids for your baby. Organic starch and maltodextrin derived from corn make the Organic Infant Formula 2 creamy and filling. The remaining 1% of ingredients are vitamins and minerals which are necessary for your baby’s development.
Holle Organic Infant Formula 2 can be given as of 6 months of age, will be more suitable for your baby’s nutritional requirements, and should form part of a balanced diet. It is hunger satisfying, developed to meet a baby’s nutritional requirements, and gluten-free.

INGREDIENTS
Skimmed milk**, Skimmed milk powder** partly demineralised, vegetable oils* (palm oil*, rapeseed oil*, sunflower oil*), maltodextrin*, starch*, whey powder*, calcium phosphate, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, vitamin C, ferrous lactate, vitamin E, sodium chloride, zinc sulphate, niacin, calcium-D-pantothenate, copper sulphate, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, manganese sulphate, vitamin B2, potassium iodate, folic acid, vitamin K, sodium selenate, vitamin D.

PREPARATION

Preparation with water sterilization:
1. Boil bottle, nipple, and ring for 3-5 minutes before use.
2. Boil the amount of water indicated on the dosage chart and let cool to around
50°C (122°F). Pour about half of the water into the bottle.
3. Add level, unpacked scoop/s according to dosage charts to water in bottle.
Take care to level off scoops with the flat back of a knife.
4. Shake well. Add the rest of the water and shake vigorously.
Let cool to about 37°C (98.6°F) before feeding the baby.
Preparation without water sterilization (safe water source):
1. Warm up the amount of water indicated on the dosage to around 50°C (122°F)
(microwave not recommend). Pour about half of the water into the bottle.
2. Add level, unpacked scoop/s according to dosage charts to water in bottle.
Take care to level off scoops with the flat back of a knife.
3. Shake well then add the rest of the water and shake vigorously.
Let cool to about 37° (98.6°F) before feeding the baby.
Important Information:
* Carefully follow the preparation instructions.
* Use only the scoop provided.
* The doses indicated must be respected.
Your baby’s health depends on following the proper instructions:
* Avoid preparing bottles ahead of time; leftover formula should be discarded after 1h maximum if not refrigerated.
* To prevent dental decay, do not allow baby to continually suckle bottle.
* Do not use a microwave to heat. Burns can result.
Care instruction:
* Expiration date is indicated on each packet.
* Please keep away from heat and humidity.
* After the packet is open, use in the next 2 weeks.
* Storing formula in a glass or stainless steel container is recommended.

I exclusively pumped for my 6.5 month old till she was 5 months but the schedule of pumping every 3 hrs was to restricting and didn’t allow for much else. So I decreased the pumps to 4x a day and supplement with 4-6oz. of formula a day. I started with Hipp and she seemed to like it. But I also wanted to give Holle a try. She seems to like this more and never gets constipated.

When my daughter was on the way, I expected her to be EBF and not to need bottles or formula. When BF wasn’t going well for us, we switched to EP and were able to make it to 7.5 months without needing to supplement. We are now falling short about 5oz per day and needed to start mixing formula into her bottles. We tried another US formula and even at a 80% breast milk / 20% formula she detected it and would not take the bottle. We ordered Holle and gave it a chance and she has no issues thus far. She takes up to 75% breast milk / 25% Holle and we are going to try increasing the proportion of formula soon. I tasted it myself and I actually think it tastes good – I wouldn’t mind drinking it! This is a big deal since so many formulas taste awful, like chemicals, etc. I was so nervous about this transition but Holle has made it simple and easy. We are using Stage 2 since she is nearly 8 months.

I just ordered what will be our last box of Holle formula as my baby just had her first birthday and is transitioning to cows milk. With my first, I was able to provide him the breastmilk he needed beyond a year with no need for formula. However, despite all of my efforts, I could not keep up with my daughter’s needs after 6 months and, after going through my freezer stash, I began to research formulas. It was such a stressful experience! I breastfed/pumped strong for about 10 months, and my supply dropped along with my babies interest in breastfeeding. I pumped as long as I could until there was nothing there. I did a ton of research before my baby was born (to have a back-up plan) and remember Holle Brand being my favorite. My baby LOVED it! She has never spit it up like I hear some formula babies can do. My son was breastfed exclusively for the first 6 months until his appetite increased dramatically and my wife’s milk supply couldn’t keep up. In addition to solids, we decided to supplement with formula and after much research, the Holle brand seemed like the best choice in terms of organic ingredients. I have no other formula to compare to since this is the only one we’ve tried, but the smell closely resembles breast milk. It mixes really well and my son loves it. It doesn’t leave him constipated or gassy at all.
We live in Canada which means shipping costs tend to be a lot higher. A friend of mine recommended Beyond Organic Baby after they ordered some formula from here. The cost is cheaper than other websites especially after you factor in the free shipping! The point system also saves you more money.
Their customer service is also excellent. I had issues with my first order being delayed at customs and Beyond Organic Baby solved the problem promptly! I highly recommend this formula and this company as well, for purchasing the formula.

I had issues producing enough milk and stopped at 3 months (supplemented at the same) when i had to return to work. I used US formula which I did with my 1st son, but after hearing and doing my own research I was on a hunt for good organic formula. Thank God I found Beyond Organic Baby – I started using the stage 2 goat milk at his 6 months but noticed he was going #2 every time he ate…to the point where he was getting rashes…..so I recently transitioned to cow milk and his potty issues got resolved…I feel he is now on a normal schedule. Love this formula!! Have been breastfeeding exclusively for 9 months and was worried about what I was going to introduce for the remaining months. Although Holle does have palm oil, it is said to have significantly less than the US formulas. The taste and smell of this is the closest I’ve seen to breastmilk as well.

This formula has been wonderful for our daughter! Easy on her little tummy and she transitions from bottle/formula to breastfeeding seamlessly and with no issues. When my baby was born, we had a very hard time breastfeeding and we had to supplement about 50% formula. After trying brands we could easily get at the store with no luck, I decided to try Holle. It has been amazing! We started with stage one, and now we’re at stage two. She hardly uses formula anymore, but this is what we use when we do need to supplement.
I love that it doesn’t hurt her stomach, at all! It’s also a different consistency than any other formula and seems a little more like breastmilk. It’s actually white and doesn’t stain anything, which is definitely a plus, and it doesn’t have much of a smell either.
I feel this is a healthier option for my daughter than any other formulas I can purchase in-store in the US.
